The independent film SoulMate by Jack, Jason, and Shane that I designed a book prop for and Mike Tichy provided music for was released today on Amazon Theater Tribeca Film Festival Short Film Competetion.

If you would like to watch SoulMate, you'll first need to login to amazon.com. In the unlikely event that you do not have an amazon.com account, you can sign up for one without purchasing anything. Once you're logged in, visit the screening room. You will be presented with a random film, so you may have to watch other films before SoulMate. You can skip a film after 30 seconds of playing it. If you want a rate a film, you'll need to watch the whole thing. Each film will last no more than 7 minutes and some films are much shorter.

I have added a new feature to the site that will automatically generate a daily blog posting that contains a list of links that I bookmarked during the day. Since I don't always get a chance to post to my blog as much as I would like to, this will at least enable me to communicate to you where I've been lately...at least virtually.

I use del.icio.us to manage my bookmarks and highly recommend it for folks who would like to categorize their bookmarks using keywords (aka tags) and then have those bookmarks available from any computer on the web.

The Mike Tichy Disaster has decided to offer their new album when the sun went down for free in mp3 format on their songs page. As I mentioned in my review, this is a great set of tunes, so don't miss your chance to check them out.

Neil sent me this article about a monkey-eating Amazonian fish found last week in a lake in Pennsylvania.

A monkey-eating Amazonian fish was caught with a piece of hot dog by a 14-year-old camper on the banks of the Adventureland lake in Bensalem last week.

[The fish] can grow up to 5 to 6 feet and jump that high to catch prey...they eat spiders, insects, small birds and even small young monkeys that wander too close to the water.

The fact that this fish eats monkeys is scarey enough, but the fish grows 5 to 6 feet long?! This isn't a fish you are winning at the school fair and going home with in a clear plastic bag with water.
